Titanite (ex Allen Heyl Collection)

Item Description

A rarely seen Titanite from the collection of Allen Heyl (for whom the species Aheylite was named after). The piece features a fairly sharp, deep brown, "wedge"-shaped Titanite crystal group. It is the only piece of the material that I've seen from this area. For the record, the dealer label that came with the piece states that this is a Titanite and Axinite specimen, but I think it's only Titanite.
