Item Description

An attractive and rarely seen (untwinned) crystal of Titanite (Sphene) from this cool REE locality in Pakistan. This specimen is one of the few Titanites I have seen from Zagi Mt. It has a classic "wedge"-shaped form with sharp faces, good luster and decent translucency. To top it off, the color is a rich golden orage hue, which is not common for the species. Good condition overall, with a slight amount of "roughness" on one edge. Certainly a good representative Titanite specimen from this contemporary classic locality in Pakistan.
