Item Description

Tormiq has produced a great variety of Titanite specimens, in a great range of colors and habits. Some of the varying finds include disc-like, tabular pinkish crystals and steep, honey colored wedge shaped crystals, but the most popular and attractive of all the habits of Titanite from this locality would have to be the twinned crystals. These are "Alpine-type" Titanite crystals, and the would be worth a great deal to any Alpine collector if there were found in Austria, Italy or Switzerland. This specimen features a sharp, lustrous, beautiful green color twinned crystal of Titanite with smaller bladed Titanite crystals sitting atop Clinochlore. A fairly attractive toenail, and keep in mind that these pieces are some of the most difficult to obtain from Pakistan.
