Item Description

A sculptural vug in volcanic tuff matrix is richly lined with glassy, frosted thomsonite spheres, to 1.5 cm, and is complimented with a well-placed, in the center, glassy 7 mm chabazite rhomb. The Goble area is well-known for numerous zeolite localities producing excellent specimens, but this railroad cut locality is not listed by MINDAT.
