Thomsonite on Stilbite

This locality in Jalgaon, has produced what are probably the best Indian examples of the zeolite, Thomsonite. This combination features a spiky, white Thomsonite 'ball' resting on pearlescent and tan Stilbite crystals. The Thompsonite is pristine and remarably attractive. Another bladed Stilbite cluster on one side adds contrast and interest. The small amount of wear along the bottom edges are to be expected, and do not detract at all from the fine aesthetics.
