Item Description
A great old time specimen of the rarely seen Thomsonite on Heulandite from Cape Blomidon in the Bay of Fundy. A 1.1 cm, radial creamy white aggregate of Thomsonite sits atop lustrous, pearly, slightly pinkish-tan colored groups of Heulandite on basalt matrix. A great piece for a Zeolite collector, a collector of Canadian minerals or general worldwide display pieces. This is honestly the only specimen of Thomsonite I've seen from this locality, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I know they're rare, and the aesthetics make it all the more desirable.
