Numerous vugs on all sides of the sculptural basalt matrix are lined with lustrous spherical aggregates of bladed thomsonite on this showy and rich specimen from this well-known Scottish Zeolite Group locale. There are also tiny gemmy blocky apophyllite crystals noted in the vugs as a nice accent. Ex Schneider Collection. Classic material.
