Thomsonite-Ca with Stilbite on Heulandite

Sculptural and rare small cabinet thomsonite, stilbite and heulandite combination from older finds in Aurangabad. The aesthetically intergrown spheres of very dense acicular thomsonite crystals are reddish-brown, a RARE color from Maharashtra. Most Indian thomsonites are colorless, white or light yellow. The large intersecting needles between the two large spheres really add a unique character to the piece. The thomsonite spheres host a few attached complementary stilbite blades and the balls are very attractively set on a field of cream-colored heulandite crystals. Aurangabad thomsonites are considered as some of the finest examples of the species and this is very fine and artistic combination example with rare reddish-brown crystals.
