Item Description

Mineral specimens of any species are rare from this obscure Oregon zeolite locality. Thomsonite and analcime specimens are EXTREMELY RARE, especially in combination! Snow-white spheroids of radiating thomsonite-(Ca) needles are richly and very attractively clustered on the vug lined with sharp, very glassy, transparent to translucent, colorless analcime crystals on the volcanic matrix. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this outstanding and very showy combination rarity. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1969. A MUST for the Oregon or species collector!
