Thaumasite - superb matrix rarity

A superb Thaumasite cluster composed of gemmy, sparkling, hexagonal crystals on a Thaumasite matrix. Crystals are a sublime yellow-green and range in length from 3 to 6mm with a few doubly terminated crystals laying across the top of the cluster. The luster and gemminess of these Thaumasite crystals are exceptional. Thaumasite is a complex hydrated calcium sulfate-carbonate and the Kalahari Manganese Field has produced the best examples of the species and this is by far one of the better miniature Thaumasite specimens we have seen for sale in at least a decade. the few nicer ones are in the $10000 and up range. This one is a special, display quality miniature, and valued $1000-2000. You simply cannot find such things for sale.
