Item Description
This is an important large miniature for what it is, as quartz is so rare at Tsumeb and so to have it as a sparkly accent to sharp tetrahedrite is very uncommon! Sparkling quartz really does accent, without overdoing, sharp crystals of tetrahedrite, to 1.5 cm. They have a dark and matte finish to them, which is unusual for the species but characteristic of Tsumeb material. The piece is a fine display specimen, complete all around. Valued $500-600.
