Item Description

Even though the Sweet Home mine is most famous for its Rhodochrosite specimens, the most significant sulfide in the mine is Tetrahedrite. This specimen features nice, sharp Tetrahedrite crystals measuring up to 3 mm with good luster and sharpness. An associated metallic golden pyritohedral Pyrite crystal that measures 6 mm, sits on the side of the "needle" Quartz matrix. The piece is an older specimen (prior to Collector's Edge mining operations), and was collected by Richard Kosnar and Dave Bergman in the late 1970s.
