Item Description

Intergrown, sharp, large, slightly iridescent, lustrous tetrahedrite crystals dominate this sculptural, fine combination from this classic, old-time, defunct locality. The impressive pair of tetrahedrites at the end are 4.6 cm across. Both sides of this artistic rib are covered with lustrous, brassy, pyritohedrons and smaller tetrahedrites. The tip of the cluster has a clean repair. This is striking and excellent, highly representative combination example of the species and well-known locale from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Acquired in a trade with Gene Darter in 1971.
