Casapalca tetrahedrites are a Peruvian classic, especially in association with dolomite crystals. A fine 1.8 cm, sharp, highly lustrous, metallic-gray, penetration-twinned tetrahedrite crystal is aesthetically set on the sulfide matrix plate with scattered clusters of tan, saddle-shaped, dolomite crystals. The two, sharp, lustrous, translucent, olive-green sphalerite crystals are a super accent. Fine and very showy combination material from the early 1970s heyday at Casapalca.
