Item Description

There was a small pocket that produced these tetrahedrite specimens about 7 years ago, and they are some of the finest quality tetrahedrite specimens that I have seen from Bolivia. This fine specimen features dozens of tetrahedron with VERY sharp faces and extremely highly luster on both sides of the quartz matrix. The crystals (the largest measuring 1.2 cm across) have many small tetrahedral "hillocks" covering the faces which makes for a very unique "ripple" effect on all sides. Brown siderite rhombs richly accent both sides. Overall, the piece is in great conditiion and displays beautifully from several angles. I have not seen another crumb of this material in several years, so if you've ever wanted one, do not let this one slip away. Ex Zukowski Collection.
