An aesthetic combination from recent finds at the Mundo Nuevo Mine. Splendent, sharp, metallic-gray, tetrahedrite tetrahedrons, to 3.5 cm, are dramatically intergrown with brilliant, brass-yellow, well-striated pyritohedrons, to 2.3 cm, two clusters of quartz points and a bit of contrasting matrix. The bit of bruising and periphery wear are noted, but this remains an impressive and very fine combination from this locale. These are some of the finest tetrahedrites around. Valued at $600.
