Item Description
A RARE and dramatic pseudomorph from this less well-known Bolivian mine. Bournonite is EXTREMELY RARE and tetrahedrite is rare from the Colavi Mine. Matte-finish tetrahedrite has replaced aesthetically stacked, opposing large sharp tabular bournonite crystals. The impressive large crystal perched at the top with the nifty side cars is 4.8 cm and the crystal it is attached to is 5.2 cm. This striking and rare 360-degree specimen is nicely accented with contrasting sparkly tiny pyrites. The bit of noted periphery wear has very minimal impact to the high quality of this extremely fine pseudomorph rarity from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Two labels come with the piece.
