A superb, large for the locale, 4.4 cm, tetrahedrite crystal is beautifully placed on the sugary, tan dolomite crystal matrix with smaller tetrahedrites. The splendent, sharp, textbook crystal has fantastic stepped-growth faces with iridescence. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial termination rubbing. This is an outstanding and aesthetic combination from the historic mines at Cavnic and the Schlichter Collection. Valued at $2000 for outstanding quality and size.
