Item Description

Years ago there were so many of these superb quality sulfides from Peru on the market, and they seem to have disappeared recently. This piece features many sharp, lustrous, metallic grey/silver color tetrahedral crystals of Tetrahedrite meausring up to 2.0 cm on edge. They are associated with some very gemmy, colorless Quartz prisms plus black Sphalerite and golden Pyrite on the base. There are some contacted edges here and there, and with that said, this is still a good quality display specimen of this classic material. These pieces are becoming more and more difficult to obtain now it seems.
