Tetrahedrite and Quartz ex Bally Museum

Item Description

A large specimen from an old classic locality, repatriated from the Bally Museum of Switzerland when it closed over a decade ago! Richly covering one side of its matrix are crystals, to 8 mm across, of bright, light gray tetrahedrite exhibiting metallic luster. They are surrounded by lustrous and translucent, milky white quartz crystals, to 1.2 cm in length. Ex. Bally Museum and Urish Collections and accompanied by old labels.
