Item Description

There was a small pocket that produced these Tetrahedrite specimens about 8 years ago (2004), and they were some of the better quality Tetrahedrite specimens that I have seen from Bolivia. This specimen features dozens of Tetrahedrite crystals with very sharp faces and good luster that are sitting on white Quartz matrix with very bright octahedral Pyrite crystals. The Tetrahedrite crystals have many small tetrahedral "hillocks" covering the faces of the which make for a unique "ripple" effect on all sides. The largest crystal measures 4 mm. Overall, the piece is in good condition and is a good reference specimen of this material. I have not seen another crumb of this specific material in several years, and it is the last one I have left to offer, so if you've ever wanted one, do not let this one slip away.
