Item Description
Instead of a secondary ore mineral, here we have primary, classic example of a sulfide from Tsumeb in the form of a beautiful sharp, lustrous, rich silvery-black metallic tetrahedra of Tennanite measuring up to 3.6 cm and associated with pearly, curved rhombs of slightly whitish-silver Dolomite. The piece is in wonderful overall condition, and it was a bit difficult to photograph, but truly looks better in person, as it's hard to show the distinction between black and white minerals in the same image and make them both stand out. I personally love Tsumeb Tennantites as they are some of the finest examples of the species in the world. Showy and eye-catching for the material and the specie in general.
