Item Description
Sharp, matte gray, tennantite microcrystals are richly clustered on the showy matrix knob covered with sparkly quartz points. The scattered, tiny doubly terminated calcite scalenohedrons are a very nifty accent. A 2008 note on the back Bob Trimingham's label says the piece is from the Steward Mine, not the Syndicate Pit. MINDAT does not list tennantite for the Syndicate Pit. Excellent and rich combination material from Butte.
