Item Description
Tennantite pseudomorphs after azurite are RARE from the renowned, now-closed Tsumeb Mine. This exceptional miniature is dominated by the impressive 3.4 cm complete all-around and undamaged pseudo aesthetically set on the matrix of smaller pseudos. The sharp, chisel termination and the natural rehealed break add pizzazz to the large crystal. The partial malachite coating on the matte gray tennantite is a very nice accent to this excellent specimen. Choice and rare Tsumeb pseudomorph material from the Wouter van Tichelen Collection. valued $750-1000. VERY SHARP in person!
