Item Description
These are still in some circles considered among best of species finds, for the stereotypic crystal habit and isolation of the crystals on a beautiful contrasting matrix. A matrix of drusy, white quartz is studded with crystals of nearly equant, lustrous, metallic-gray, tennantite to 2 cm across. I particularly like the two large crystals perched high on top of the matrix, which are very dramatic (and quite large for crystals of this old classic find) . This is a superb display specimen, unusuallly complete all around, from the Dick Heck Mexico collection. Valued $1200-1500
