Tennantite on Quartz (classic locale)

Item Description

A sculptural and classic combination from the famous Cobre Mine. Sharp, lustrous metallic-gray, modified tennantite tetrahedrons, to 1.1 cm, are very aesthetically scattered on the dramatic "mountain range" of sharply terminated milky quartz crystals. A field of smaller secondary quartz crystals on the right side is a nice compliment. The matrix includes pyrite with some chalcopyrite. A very classy combination from this noted locale.
