Item Description
A lovely large miniature / small cabinet specimen of the sought after Tennantites from Tsumeb. This classic piece is was mined in the 1970s featuring a textbook tetrahedron of Tennantite with sharp faces and an unknown overgrowth of possibly Siderite(?) sitting on Quartz. The largest crystal measures 1.2 cm on edge and is aesthetically sitting on the underlying matrix. It's actually sitting up and "away" from the matrix if that makes sense. The fact that the crystal is on matrix makes it even better. A great opportunity to purchase an eye-catching specimen of this beloved material. With the price of Tsumeb specimens rising daily, this is a great opportunity to snag a classic specimen from what is considered by most people to be the most prolific mineral locality in the world. Valued at $795.
