Item Description

Lustrous, sharp, striated, metallic-gray, tennantite tetrahedrons are very nearly obscured by the rich coatings of iridescent bornite botryoids on this very showy and rich combination plate from this noted locale. The glassy, sometimes iron oxide-included quartz points are a nifty and striking contrast. Older material, prior to the dissolution of the USSR in 1991. Ex Alfred Stevenson Collection. Combinations in this fine quality are rare.
