Item Description
Tektites are naturally ocurring pieces of glass that are believed to have been formed from ejections of the Earth's crust cooled after being struck from meteorite impacts. They are often found in small pebbles, and are rarely seen in gemstone form. This is a really cool FACETED gem of a Tektite and shows a very dark amber hue when backlit, but you need a strong light to see it. Rare on the market for the simple fact that faceted examples are almost impossible to find. The stone has a shallow "rectangle" cut.
