Item Description
The famous Broken Hill Mine of Zambia is the Type Locality of tarbuttite, an ultra-rare zinc phosphate. Scintillating, very gemmy, water-clear, colorless tarbuttite crystals richly cover both sides of the vuggy sculptural gossan matrix on this fine old-timer from 1960s or earlier. RARE in this quality and richness. From an East Coast collection.
