A partially gemmy, trichroic tanzanite crystal with a pristine, sharp termination and unusual associations. Beautiful blue is visible in the lustrous front and back of the partially included crystal. The violet on the sides is hard to see due to the inclusions and contacting/frosting on the other side. You can see flashes of red under lighting. Lustrous graphite crystals are embedded at the base in the front. The rare assocation on the back appears to be rare glassy stilbite blades coated with drusy chabazite. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A RARE and desirable tanzanite combinatioin from Merelani. 33 grams mass.
