The allure of Tanzanite is undeniable, as the intense blue and purple colors combined with notably gemmy crystals makes them some of the most attractive gem crystals on the market. Tanzanite is one of the most popular faceted gems in the world, and fine crystals are fast becoming some of the most desirable gem crystals / mineral specimen in the world. They are certainly among sought after minerals on the market these days. It is not common to find Tanzanite specimens that feature more than one crystal. They are almost always found in loose single crystals. I love this piece for the simple fact that there are multiple crystals present. They are fairly gemmy too, so the light pours right through them, and you don’t need a lot of backlighting to see the color, like you do with thicker Tanzanites. Additionally, when the piece is rotated 90 degrees, you can see a bit of pleochroism. There is a bit of roughness on the edges, so it's not completely pristine, but it's still a cool and showy example of these beautiful and classic specimens. Priced in the inventory at $1,800.
