Item Description
Metallic lustre TANTALITE has pseudomorphed two well-placed, sharp MICROLITE octahedrons, to 1.2 cm, on the sculptural sugary, coarsely bladed Adularia matrix. These are VERY RARE and unusual pseudomorphs from the Shigar Valley. Microlite is a member of the Pyrochlore Supergroup. Both species contain Tantalum. From a very small find made in the summer of 2007. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued highly for rarity.
