Tantalite-(Mn) (superb quality) on Albite (ex Herb Obodda)

Item Description

This is quite possibly the finest specimen of Tantalite-(Mn) (formerly Manganotantalite) from Bulochi that we've ever had to offer. This showy and aesthetic miniature features a group of superb, very sharp, incredibly well-formed, highly lustrous, prismatic crystals of Tantalite-(Mn) aesthetically flaring off of a "flower"-like crystallized matrix of white bladed Albite (var: Cleavelandite). The quality of the Tantalite-(Mn) crystals is outstanding, as one rarely sees crystals with such glistening luster and incredibly well-formed faces like this. Now the crystals are mostly black, but with a strong light, you can see a TINY bit of blood red hue along the edges, we tried our best to illustrate this in the photos, but it was impossible to accurately capture. If you collect pegmatite minerals, you know how hard it is to get your hands on a stellar matrix display specimen of Tantalite-(Mn) like this.
