Item Description

Manganotantalite specimens from this well-known pegmatite locality are rare and seldom available. This excellent, amazingly well-formed, thick, crystal has a beautiful termination and sharp, tapered edges to go along with the HIGHLY LUSTROS PRISM FACES. Most of the crystal appears to be black, but this one has a lovely internal metallic blood red color on the lustrous faces when a light is reflected inwardsThis is an excellent example of this uncommon pegmatite species from this locality. Ex Herb Obodda specimen. I would value it at $800-$900.
