Manganotantalite specimens from this well-known pegmatite locale are rare and are seldom on the market. This high quality well-striated blade has a chisel termination and sharp, tapered edges to go along with the high luster. Most of the crystal appears to be black, but the "glow" shot reveals translucent, red spots on the lustrous face. Essentially pristine, except for one miniscule edge bruise (thats a piece of cotton on the "glow" shot). This is an excellent example of this uncommon pegmatite species from this locale.
