Item Description
Taneyamalite is an ultra rare silicate found in metamorphic manganese ore deposits and is known from only three localities worldwide. This thumbnail, from the namesake Co-type Locality, features aggregates of greenish-gray-yellow acicular crystals on several faces of the rust-brown hematite matrix. Very rare on the market. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
