A great piece for any fan of rare minerals, or species from the type locality. Here we have a seldom-seen example of Tamarugite, a rare hydrated sodium aluminum sulfate species, named after the Tamarugal Province of Tarapaca, Chile. We've never had another example of this material to offer in the auctions. This piece features slightly translucent, off-white colored, crystals of Tamarugite on matrix with a bit of associated white Mendozite according to the label that accompanies the piece. This material is incredibly hard to find on the market, and we don't have another one to offer, so don't miss out.
