Item Description

Texas, for such a large state, is generally considered to be a mineral specimen producing wilderness. Here is a showy and uncommon, LARGE CABINET, specimen of wavy, laminated, talc from Hudspeth County in Far West Texas. The typically waxy luster and feel talc has a pretty pastel-pink color. Talc is mined for the ceramics industry in this district, but very few specimens reach the mineral collecting market. Rare.
