Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY variety are rare from this extinct underground talc mine, closed since 1955. Beautiful, pearlescent, translucent, mint-green, talc blades and massive talc strikingly cover multiple sides of the blocky, ivory-colored magnesite matrix on this colorful and very showy combination rarity. Individual blades reach 2.3 cm. Undoubtably older material. Ex University of Delaware Collection. A fine combination rarity for the locality or species collector.
