Item Description

A dramatic floater cluster of glassy, gemmy, gorgeous, rich cherry-red to red-orange, scalenohederons and spikes of man-made secondary zincite. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial termination bruising to the two large crystals. This unusual, but very beautiful specimen was lab grown for decorative purposes or as a collectible. Seldom available in this quality as crystalline specimens, though. This one looks like a pocket knife with several blades open. Ex Ernie and Vera Schlichter Collection. Valued highly for color and aesthetics.
