Synthetic Zincite xls (ex Schlichter Coll.)

This gem, super glassy, yellow-green, man-made synthetic zincite crystal looks like an electric green eel! This unusual and exceptional specimen was lab grown in Poland for decorative purposes or as a collectible. Seldom available in this quality as crystalline specimens, though. Interestingly, one side is water-clear, while the other is frosted/etched. It looks doubly terminated, but the attachment points are on the tips. Ex Ernie and Vera Schlichter Collection.
