Item Description
This is a surreal- looking 360-degree spray of gray Magnesium (Magnesium oxide?) crystals. The dramatic curved "feathers" are stunningly sharp and well-formed. Most of the feathers have matte luster, with a few with metallic-gray luster. Certainly an exotic and incredible man made mineral specimen, from some kind of smelter process. Ex Taylor Hunt Collection. Lightweight for the size at only 281 grams. initially listed as manganese, it has been corrected to Magnesium - common lab grown material, just interesting as a specimen for a native.
