Item Description

Splendent, golden-bright, sylvanite microcrystals are festooned on one corner of the thin matrix plate, than contains much contrasting, purple fluorite. Sylvanite and fluorite are an uncommon combination from this well-known district and this is a showy and richly representative specimen. The piece is probably from the 1800s, if not the early 1900s. Classic Colorado. Comes with a nifty label and was from the A.W. Pinger Collection.
