This highly collectible, informative, and sought-after July 1998 special large-sized issue of the Mineralogical Record covers mining projects of the now-defunct Sweet Home mine in its heyday. This book features photos of most of the important specimens of the mid-1990s and of how mining for specimens strategically can lead to a new economics of specimen mining at abandoned old mines. This is a hard to obtain issue, given the limited print runs of giant-sized editions at the time. Valued at $250, if you can find one for sale even. 190 pages including ads.
