Item Description
Bands of attractive soft pink colored Sussexite are cutting through dark brownish-black Pyrochroite in this attractive cabinet specimen from Sterling Hill. One spot reveals orange Zincite micro crystals as well. Under UV light, we can see green fluorescence from Willemite, along with both red and pink fluorescence from what is likely Calcite. An attractive combination specimen from this classic locality. The piece is accompanied by a label from noted Franklin mineral dealers Ewald and Helen Gerstmann.
