Item Description

A classic Sussexite specimen showing great fibrous form. These specimens are among some of the most easily recognizable minerals from all of Franklin. With over 350 species from this historic mining district, this one was actually named after the county where Franklin the mine is located. A good specimen of this well known material, especially considering so many of the species from Franklin are micros. From the collection of Richard A. Kosnar.
