superb Wulfenite (classic US material) ex Bob Reynolds

This is a killer matrix of Wulfenite from the famed Red Cloud Mine in Arizona. A LARGE, gorgeous Wulfenite crystal along with , another large intergrown companion along with two other smaller, nearby crystal are front and center on the contrasty piece of matrix of this exceptional specimen. The Wulfenite crystals are well-formed, bright reddish orange, lustrous and translucent; iconic for the Red Cloud. Crystals are the typical modified tabular habit for the locality giving them their added aesthetically unique appearance. The main Wulfenite crystal is transparent to translucent and measures 1.8 cm across and the two smaller crystals are 0.6 and 1 cm across, respectively. Another, 3 mm crystal is present in the front, and several small, isolated Wulfenites are scattered about the piece for extra orange sparkle. This is abdsolutely classic material from the famous Red Gem Pocket of the late 1990s, distinct and easily noticed for the combination of luster, color, and sparkly matrix (which was rare, even there, however).
