Superb Scheelite octahedron

A magnificent and stunning, complete all-around scheelite octahedron from recent finds at Mt Xuebaoding. This sharp, translucent, higly lustrous, honey-brown crystal is highlighted by a fabulous, super-gemmy, rich golden-amber corner and the gemmier termination. The gemminess of such scheelites is simply unmatched in the world. The gemmy corner even gives off rainbows in good light! Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, a trivial bit of barely noticeable termination wear is noted. This is the only bruising to this striking piece. The backlit photo highlights the beautiful, intense color saturation and gemminess. Super white fluorescence, as you would expect. Very hefty for its size. Rich tungsten ore! 313 grams.
