Item Description
A superb and very aesthetic curved and curled ramshorn gypsum crystal. This lustrous, ribbed ramshorn is an amazingly stout 3.5 cm wide! The interior separation of the ramshorn really adds character to this outstanding older specimen from the famous West Camp at Santa Eulalia. This significant selenite displays well from either side and without aid. Very, very nearly pristine (amazing for a soft mineral), the multiple termination of the ramshorn has only a bit of bruising. The rest of the piece is pristine. One of the very best Santa Eulalia ramshorn gypsums you will see in this size range. This is an old piece that I've had stashed back for many years and just uncovered it. Valued $800-1000.
